Celebrating RV: Our Young Volunteer’s Achievement

At Piper's Peak, we are delighted to celebrate RV, a 6th grader whose hard work and dedication have earned him the prestigious Abigail "Abbie" Bachmore Award for volunteer service. This award, given by Abbie’s Gift, honors young individuals who demonstrate exceptional community service. RV's journey began with his decision to support Piper's Peak at a tradeshow, where he quickly became an invaluable team member.

To qualify for the award, RV completed over 15 hours of volunteer work and wrote a compelling 500-word essay detailing his experience. In his essay, RV highlighted the skills he developed and the lessons he learned, such as teamwork, effective communication, and the joy of helping others. His maturity and insight left a lasting impression on the award committee and everyone at Piper's Peak.

RV’s contributions went beyond the required hours. His enthusiasm and willingness to assist in any way possible made a significant impact. From setting up booths to engaging with visitors, RV approached every task with dedication and professionalism. His efforts were instrumental in the smooth running of the event and in spreading awareness about our mission and programs.

RV’s achievement is a shining example of the spirit of volunteerism we cultivate at Piper's Peak. His story is an inspiration to us all and a reminder that age is no barrier to making a difference. We are incredibly proud to have RV as part of the Piper's Peak family and look forward to seeing him grow and achieve even more in the future.

Join us in celebrating RV’s remarkable accomplishment. Congratulations, RV, on receiving the Abigail "Abbie" Bachmore Award – we are incredibly proud of you!
